Sneaks on the AVE: Nike Air Pegasus ’92 – Upcoming Colorways

Earlier this morning, Sneaker News showed you how Nike Sportswear is bringing together over a decade and a half of Tailwind series runners for their new hybrid design, but here's one that remains unchanged a full twenty years after its debut.  The latest round of Nike Air Pegasus '92s has a slightly anachronistic vibe about it not because two of the four pairs bear the colors of classic Air Mowabb ACG releases from around the same time, but because back in the day, the Swoosh didn't typically spread these colorways across different silhouettes like pretty much every brand does in modern times with 'pack' releases.  With that in mind, maybe this is just the 'fire pack', because each pair including the two tonal grey leather joints, all have that look that'll have classic running fans making these hard to find.  Check out some more images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News & BlvdAve for the US release dates.

Nike Trainer 1.3 Mid Shield ‘Rivalry Pack’ – Army + Navy

The competitive nature among the divisions of the United States Armed Forces represents itself quite well on the college football field, as the Army/Navy rivalry is as strained and heated as some of the most noted match-ups in history. The Army/Navy game dates back to 1890 and is commonly played in Philadelphia (somewhat of a neutral ground considering the city is roughly equidistant to both academies), and is now played during the second weekend of December - the final game of the season for both teams.
The 112th annual Army/Navy Game will be held on Saturday, December 12th, but preceding that historic bout will be the release of the Army and Navy editions of the Nike Trainer 1.3 Mid Shield 'Rivalry Pack'; both versions represent the academy colors perfectly, with both pairs featuring special graphics on the heel. The Army utilizes a tonal beige colorway with the signature Army typefont on the heel, while the Navy uses a dark blue digi-camo with flag badges - both accurate depictions of each respective division.

Expect both to hit Nikestore on December 9th at a price of $115 (and be quick with your draw because these will clear out fast).

Sneaks on the Ave: Nike SB Dunk Mid Pro

If we've learned anything from Nike's Fall/Winter 2011 collection, it's that the brand is dead set on extending the aesthetics of outerwear well beyond the Nike ACG range. From beefed up Duckboot Air Force 1's to Sky Force '88s sporting d-ring lacing, it is abundantly clear that every division of the Swoosh will have the proper footwear for the coming months. The iteration for Nike SB is the Nike SB Dunk Mid 'Patagonia' that we've been patiently waiting for, which sports a mixture of earthy tones paired with metal eyelets and the classic hunter red laces. We've got some high quality pics after the jump to tide you over until their rumored December release, courtesy of aggi on N-SB.

Sneaks on the Ave: Nike SB Blazer Highs - Rift Blue/Classic Chracoal/White

White-on-black Nike SB Blazer Highs and Blazer CS SBs have been available 'all day/every day' at Nike SB retailers for some time, so along with the black/Team Red and 'A Tribe Called Quest' joints that just hit retailers, black suede has figured quite prominently in the SB Blazer's recent plans. A pair of suede Blazers is one of those impeccable looks that deserves to be reproduced across the entire visible spectrum, and when you pair the lovely Rift Blue shade on this pair with grey nubuck for a range of crisp blues plus white on the vulc sole, you get one of the 'coolest' winter designs we've seen so far for the coming stretch of extended cold weather. Click through to see more angles after the jump and expect this pair at retailers next month.

Sneaks on the AVE: Nike Air Max 1 ‘Aztec’ – Grain/Sail/Ironstone

Much has changed with Nike Sportswear's Aztec Pack since the initial images were previewed back in early August. Not only did new Air Max 90s and Dunk Highs join the set, but we also saw a significant difference between the first and second looks at the Nike Air Max 1 'Aztec'; will that translate to two separate releases? Here's a closer look at the newer design, one that we absolutely know for certain is destined for retail because that's the origin of these images.

This combination of Grain and Ironstone is softer than the all-chocolate pair we first saw, a look greatly enhanced by the select use of blue along the patterned side panels. Let us know if these are the better AM1 Aztecs and look for yours at Nike Sportswear suppliers like Titolo.

Sneaks on the AVE: Nike Air Max 95 – Black/ Grey /Blue Colorway

The original Nike Air Max 95 formula of white-grey-black gradient plus a vivid accent color is quite simply perfect.  A design that elegant really can't be so much as improved, but that's not to say that a range of variants can't be equally satisfying in their own right.  We've seen inverted gradients, all-tonal uppers and now this new pair slated to release next month, which has a bit of extra black added in lieu of the white sections for a vaguely Stash-like feel as coupled with blue on the eyelets and Air bubbles.  Have a closer look at this new Air Max 95 after the jump and expect them at Nike Sportswear retailers like Villa starting October 15th.

Sneaks on the Ave: Nike Air Max 95 – Tour/Yellow Now Available

Props to Extra Butter !
Nike named its Tour Yellow shade in honor of the Tour de France general classification leader jersey. It became synonymous with Lance Armstrong's amazing comeback from cancer and subsequent domination of the sport of cycling, over 80 million (!) LIVESTRONG bracelets increasing awareness as they sparked a global fad. Lance's seven consecutive Tour victories remains one of the great achievements in the history of modern sport, so how impressive is it to consistently churn out hit after hit for over sixteen years in a row?! The Nike Air Max 95 in its OG 'grey-dient' look could be a dictionary exemplar for the word 'impeccable', this new Tour Yellow edition a twist on the ever popular bright yellow 'Neon' edition.  The Neons have been retroed a few times over the past several years and sold out each time, so act fast if you want to grab a pair of these Air Max 95s from Nike Sportswear spots or go ahead and get yours right now on eBay.

Sneaks on the Ave: Nike Air Trainer SC II High - Grey/Black/Orange Now available

Its addition to the Nike Sportswear retro rotation long overdue in the minds of the cult following it'd been building, the Nike Air Trainer SC II returned earlier this year to continue NSW's exploration of the early days of cross-training.  This model looks just as the original did in 1990, but instead of the OG Infrared accents, this new release utilizes orange to achieve a similar, yet strangely novel effect.  Click through to see more of the latest Air Trainer SC II colorway and pick up a pair today from NSW retailers like the Kentucky Wildcats' favorite shop: Oneness.

Sneaks on the AVE: Nike Air Diamond Turf : Freshwater/Grey Now Available

One of the best parts about retro releases from models you remember dropping when you were a kid is the chance to reimagine them in new, never before seen colorways.  Take for instance this new Nike Air Diamond Turf in a mix of black, grey and Fresh Water, a color combo that you'd typically tend to associate with the Nike Griffey series from around the same time.  A 'Jacksonville Jaguars' colorway released about a year ago, but thanks to the total lack of gold and the presence of those dark neutral shades, these teal-accented Diamond Turfs come off quite a bit differently. Look for these at NSW retailers like Eastbay or on eBay.

Sneaks on the Ave: Nike Air Trainer SC II High – ‘Blackout’

The Nike Air Trainer SC II High (and most of the 90's Trainers) are attributed to bright neon colors, like the OG Neon/Teal and the Infrared versions that made this shoe so popular.

Along comes the tonal black (what we in the sneaker community like to dub 'blackout') colorway brings the shoe back down to its barest form, emphasizing the design of the shoe without being distracted by superfluous (although admittedly pleasing) colorways.

The 'Blackout' colorway of the Air Trainer SC II High just recently dropped, and it's certainly a worthy pick-up as a hold-over until the true OG colorways hit stores. More images await you below, so take a look and pick up a pair now from 95soleman on eBay.

NIKE SNEAKS ON BLVD: Nike SB July 2011 Footwear

Unlike in the real world (or at least the northern hemisphere, anyway) when July 1st is among the longest and usually warmest days of the entire year, the first day of Q3 starts the fall season for fashion.  And it's clear Nike Skateboarding is looking to help you ready for the inevitable decline into autumn, this collection of Nike SB footwear for July taking a significant turn toward richer, earthy colorways.  We'll start with the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro that takes its colors from the UK's passports, a model that lends its deep red to the sockliner of the Blazer High SB in Classic Charcoal and Halo.  The Stefan Janoski signature series gets two new models with a City Navy suede Mid and a black canvas and brass Low while Paul Rodriguez also gets two new shoes in the form of V-Rod and P-Rod 2.5s.  Rounding out the group is an all but blacked-out Eric Koston 1 with a gum sole, and you can see all of these in more detail when you  LOOK below.  Let us know which pairs catch your eye and look for these at Nike SB account worldwide.

New sneaks on BlvdAve: "Entourage" Nike SB Dunk Low ‘The End’

The final season of HBO's Entourage is scheduled to hit airwaves in a few weeks and while most people are anticipating the season premiere others are buzzing about the Entourage x Nike SB collaboration. A pair recently popped up on eBay and according to the seller, these were made for friends and family only and limited to 50 pairs, much like the recent F&F Air Jordan V 'Quai 54' Black. While that's not confirmed yet, this is a good look into whether or not they will hit retail in the near future. If you want to avoid the possibility of them never hitting retail and can afford it, you can get what could turn out to be a super-rare collectible from rynosomuch on eBay.

GOTTA COP EM IN THE WORST WAY !
