Weekend Box Office Results August 19, 2011 - August 21, 2011

Good thing we're not paid psychics, cuz we were waaaaaay off with our predictions for who would be Box Office CHAMP this past weekend. Apparently "The Help" and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" wanted to play musical chairs this weekend as the two films remained at the top of the box office, only this time "The Help" would land at # 1 and "Planet of the Apes" # 2. Our guess for the # 1 movie this weekend was "Fright Night" and that film came in at # 6,  Garnering $ 8 Million at the box office. Check the list for the rest ladies and gents, and we'll be back on Friday with more new Films for you to check out

New movies in theaters now

Ok here we are ladies and gents, another friday is here. So you know what that means !! There are several new movies in theaters this weekend, all ranging from horror to something for the kiddies as well. Take a look at the following trailers and make your pick on which flick you wanna see the most.
BlvdAve's prediction for number 1 at box office this weekend: After we were off target last weekend lol, careful consideration has gone into this prediction. Our choice ? "FRIGHT NIGHT" ! judging from all the tv placements and strong internet marketing, BlvdAve cant see the new Spy Kids beating this or the Conan because they lack superstar power. Fright Night has Colin Farell ! Nuff Said !! As always we will give you the results on monday on this weeks boc office battle. PEACE !!!
