Weekend Box Office Results September 16, 2011 - September 18, 2011





Hey ladies and gents, we're back with your box office results for this past weekend. "The Lion King" in 3D came in the Number 1 position despite being 14 years older than its competition. Truly proving that greatness stands the test of time. Last weeks Number 1 movie, "Contagion" came in at Number 2, followed by "Drive" in the Number 3 position. "The Help" Remains in the top 5, Collecting another $ 6 Million this weekend, bringing it's box office total to close to $ 148 Million dollars. "Straw Dogs" rounds out the top 5, raking in $ 5 million bucks. Check the list for the rest of the top 12 !

Weekend Box Office September 2, 2011 - September 5, 2011


Sorry for the delay on delivering this, but due to the holiday weekend, there was an extra day to tally up the Box Office results this past weekend. "The Help" continued it's box office dominance, as once again it came in as the number 1 movie in theaters. It raked in another $19.8 million, brining it's total close to $125 Million total in ticket sales. "The Debt" Followed in the number 2 spot, with $12 Million in ticket sales it's first weekend in theaters. "Apollo 18" had a decent box office weekend, making $10 Million it's first weekend in theaters as well. New movies in theaters now


Alright ladies and gents, its friday, so you know what that means ! Here's a new batch of movies that have arrived in theaters today. During the last couple of weeks, there hasn't been a movie that has been able to dethrone the current box champ "The Help," which has been at the top for the past 3 weeks. Let's see if any of these newbies will pose a threat or fall victim once again to the "powerhouse"  known as "The Help."
