Sneaks on the AVE: Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Think Pink’

We've shown you 'Think Pink' sneakers before on BlvdAve, that being the LeBron 8 V/2 ,and now we're back with a Nike Zoom Kobe VI done up with the same theme.

These deliver on their namesake, as it's hard to think about much else when you take a look at this glowing pair of Kobes.

 The ribbon adorning the heel is a representative of the greater cause behind these-breast cancer awareness, with a handful of WNBA players sporting them on the court last week to rally for the cause.

Sneaks on the AVE: Nike Air Diamond Turf : Freshwater/Grey Now Available

One of the best parts about retro releases from models you remember dropping when you were a kid is the chance to reimagine them in new, never before seen colorways.  Take for instance this new Nike Air Diamond Turf in a mix of black, grey and Fresh Water, a color combo that you'd typically tend to associate with the Nike Griffey series from around the same time.  A 'Jacksonville Jaguars' colorway released about a year ago, but thanks to the total lack of gold and the presence of those dark neutral shades, these teal-accented Diamond Turfs come off quite a bit differently. Look for these at NSW retailers like Eastbay or on eBay.

Sneaks on the Ave: Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 ‘White/Cement’

Many sneakerheads consider 1987 Nike's strongest year on record, and with the debut of the Air Jordan II, Nike Air Max 1, Air Safari and Air Trainer 1, it's certainly a credible claim.  This new Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 borrows the AM1's cushion, but nearly everything else on this design comes from newer stuff than the Eighty-Sevens.  It starts with Elephant print on the mudguard to connect with '88s Air Jordan III but then zooms forward nearly a decade thanks to the AJXI-style patent leather on that section.  The design earns its name thanks to AJ13-esque dimpled quilting on the upper vamp and this classic Chicago 'home' colorway is as timeless as the models upon which this design draws.

Ok here we are ladies and gents, another friday is here. So you know what that means !! There are several new movies in theaters this weekend, all ranging from horror to something for the kiddies as well. Take a look at the following trailers and make your pick on which flick you wanna see the most.
BlvdAve's prediction for number 1 at box office this weekend: After we were off target last weekend lol, careful consideration has gone into this prediction. Our choice ? "FRIGHT NIGHT" ! judging from all the tv placements and strong internet marketing, BlvdAve cant see the new Spy Kids beating this or the Conan because they lack superstar power. Fright Night has Colin Farell ! Nuff Said !! As always we will give you the results on monday on this weeks boc office battle. PEACE !!!
